Bright light feels overwhelming
Who This Assessment Is For
This assessment may benefit patients who experience
• Glare or discomfort in bright environments
• Reduced contrast or washed out vision
• Visual stress after cataract or refractive surgery
• Retinal or optic nerve related vision changes
• Persistent discomfort despite updated prescriptions
Many patients only realise how sensitive their vision has become once these symptoms are properly assessed.
Clinical Assessment Approach
At IHOLICS, light sensitivity assessment is conducted as a structured extension of a comprehensive eye examination.
Using specialised colour filter and contrast testing, we clinically evaluate how light and contrast affect your visual performance and comfort.
The focus is not simply clearer vision, but more stable and comfortable vision throughout daily activities.
